The Trinity Housing Office is pleased to be able to offer short-term accommodations that can be reserved for use by students, staff, and faculty.
Several residence hall rooms are designated for this purpose as well as one guest apartment. All rooms are fully furnished, and guests may reserve a room for any length of time in one of the following:
Johnson Residence Hall
This is dorm room housing with a private bedroom and a shared bathroom. There are two pricing options for Single Room Short Term Housing. $25/night if you provide the bed & bath linens or $40/night if we provide your bed & bath linens. For linen service please give one weeks notice as we need to order the linen in from an outside company. Orders are placed on Tuesday for Thursday delivery. All of the rooms are furnished with a single bed, a desk, and a dresser. There is a common bathroom in the suite. The University is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the bathrooms. Each person will have his or her own bedroom, but there could be other people in the same suite. (Each floor has 12 bedrooms and two bathrooms.)
Johnson Guest Apartment
This is a one bedroom apartment that comes with a “Full Size” bed, a kitchenette for cooking a living room/dining room and a private bathroom. There are two pricing options, $45 per night if you provide your own linens $60 per night if you we provide the bed linens and the bath linens. If you select the linen service option you will need to give at least a one weeks notice as we need to order the linen in from an outside company. Discounted Rates If you have selected the “with linen” option and will be staying on campus for more than 7 nights there is a $5 per night discount available. If you are a staff or faculty member making a personal reservation, or if you are making a departmental reservation then you may be eligible for discounted rates. Check-in for all short-term housing is after 3:00pm. You may pick up your key and welcome packet at the Housing Office during office hours, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, or after hours at the Security Gatehouse located at the main entrance to campus.
Check-out is by 10:00 am. Please bring your room key to the Housing Office in Lower Waybright or hand it to Security in the Security Gatehouse (during weekends).
If you are not able to check-out on time, please contact the Housing Office to see if other arrangements can be made. If suitable arrangements are not made, then there will be a $25 fee assessed for late check-outs.
If you would like to extend your stay, please call or email the Housing Office. Adding additional nights to your stay depends on the room’s availability.
Payment and Cancellations
The preferred method of payment is by credit/debit in advance of your stay. If you need these charges to be on your student bill, contact us in advance at the Housing Office 847-317-4029.
If you need to cancel, you must do so at least two business days in advance of your arrival. Reservations cancelled with any less than 2 business days notice will be assessed a charge equal to one night of stay.
