About Adam

Adam grew up in a Christian home and became a believer at a young age. He got involved in ministry in his local church in high school, doing everything from short-term missions to children’s ministry to small groups to worship. At St. Olaf College his ministry involvement expanded to leading campus groups in a denominationally diverse setting. While at St. Olaf Adam also immersed himself in the Western intellectual tradition and became passionate about seeing the gospel translated into contemporary culture. His ongoing personal study of Scripture and increasing involvement in ministry led to a sense of calling to pursue studies at Trinity (where his childhood pastor had also studied).

In the summer of 2008 Adam graduated from St. Olaf, married his lovely wife Leanne, and moved to Deerfield to begin his studies at TEDS. During his time at Trinity Adam has been blessed with two sons. The Trinity experience has sharpened Adam’s passion for the riches of Scripture, the value of Christian cultural engagement, and the importance of the local church. Adam hopes to find ways to utilize each of those passions throughout his life. Adam is excited to have the opportunity to serve and coach prospective students as they seek God’s leading in their lives.

When he has a chance, Adam enjoys reading and writing fiction and poetry, watching movies, listening to and playing music, playing board games, and following the Green Bay Packers. He loves to be with his family, and spends much of his spare time playing with trains and reading children’s books.
