Before coming to Trinity, Dr Campbell served as Senior Lecturer in New Testament and Greek at Moore Theological College, Sydney, Australia. He has served as an Associate Pastor and itinerant evangelist throughout Australia, combining jazz music with evangelism. His publications include Basics of Verbal Aspect in Biblical Greek, Advances in the Study of Greek: New Insights for Reading the New Testament, and Paul and Union with Christ: An Exegetical and Theological Study—the 2014 Christianity Today Book of the Year in Biblical Studies. He is currently writing on the Johannine Epistles, a theology of achievement, and on the eschatology of the Apostle Paul. Dr Campbell is an ordained deacon in the Anglican Church of Australia, and is a highly active preacher and evangelist. He enjoys performing as a jazz saxophonist, bodybuilding, and most of all time spent with his family—wife Bronwyn and their three children.
